Joshua Venture's mission is to reinvigorate and expand the Jewish community by:

• Cultivating the leadership and management capability of talented, passionate you Jewish social entrepreneurs and investing in their visions and the growth of healthy, sustainable organizations;
• Advancing the overall field of Jewish social entrepreneurship.

Joshua Venture offers a tripartite investment – in the fellows, in their organizations, and in the field of Jewish social entrepreneurship. This investment yields returns through the life-long careers of fellows, through their organizations that uniquely fill gaps in Jewish communal programming, and through the networks and collaborations that develop amongst the broad range of stakeholders in the field, including the Jewish social entrepreneurs themselves (not limited to Joshua Venture fellows/alumni), individuals considering launching a new Jewish venture, funders of new Jewish ventures, experts who serve Jewish social entrepreneurs, staff and lay leaders of other initiatives serving Jewish social entrepreneurs, business people will skills and experiences to offer from the for-profit sector, and members of the broader (secular) social entrepreneurship community. Joshua Venture believes that having all those around the table come together periodically will enable real progress to be made at the individual, organizational, and field levels.
